In 2001, PLB International inc. was the first North American dry pet food manufacturer to receive accreditation for HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards observed by firms active in the pet and human food manufacturing sectors. The HACCP principles involve extensive record keeping and monitoring to ensure that we adhere to the highest quality standards at all levels of the manufacturing process of our products.

The HACCP program identifies potential hazards associated with production processes and executes preventative measures to reduce the risk of product contamination (biologic, chemical, food).

We also have a CVMA certification that requires the respect of high standards of manufacturing, registered as Product L.B. To know more about this certification: http://www.animalhealthcare.ca.

Even some of our ingredients are certified by the E.U. Regulation 1774.
